Assortment

The Business Object Assortment is a part of the enterprise-wide
range of goods. It is intended for a specified target group.

Structure:

The scope of the assortment is determined through the assignment of assortment modules.

To an assortment can be assigned several assortment users who then form the target group.

To an assortment can be assigned several material groups that specify properties for the materials of the assortment.

This method can be used to create new assortment and change or delete existing material master data.

The following tables are affected by assortment processing:

So that the system can see that a data record is to be deleted, thefield FUNCTION must contain value 003 in the relevant structure. This field is not relevant if data is created or changed.

Notes

For data to be created/changed, you need the appropriate authorization for maintaining the assortment in question.
