You can use this customer enhancement in a local currency changeover for a consolidation unit at fiscal year change.

If there is a consolidation unit local currency changeover at fiscal year change, you can record the fact in the master data of the consolidation unit. When the consolidation unit balance is carried forward, the change is included in the processing logic. Local currency amounts to be carried forward are translated using the last translation method that was specified for the consildation unit in the old year. It is advisable to define the translation method for the local currency changeover for period 016 of the previous year, because later you can see which method was used to carry out the translation.

This customer enhancement becomes active where there is an item to be carried forward for which no translation method has been entered. The
