Customer Exits for Material ID
In process instruction category MI_MATBA, the system checks whether the materials of all batches match the current process order. The material and batch numbers can be entered using the keyboard or bar code reader. When using the bar code reader, different bar code formats can be used.
For use of bar code readers in the process instruction category MI_MATBA, the following components of the SAP enhancement SMIC0001 are available. EXIT_SAPLCOMIX_001. You can use this customer function call to extract the material and batch numbers from the bar code.
